3 quarts eggnog
1-1/2 quarts apple cider
1 teaspoon ground nutmeg
1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
4 whole cloves
zest of 1 lemon

Combine all ingredients in a large stockpot and whisk together. Warm over low heat, stirring occasionally. Pour into mugs and sprinkle with a dash of nutmeg. Adapted from www.cooksrecipes.com
