Congratulations to the 2015 Milk Carton Boat Race Winners!
Thanks to all who attended or participated in the 2015 Milk Carton Boat Race, supporting Northwest Farmers Fighting Hunger. It was a great success.
Last Sunday, June 7, was a beautiful day at Westmoreland Park. There were 35 boats on the pond cheered by an estimated crowd of 2-2,500 people. Donations to Oregon Food Bank totaled just under a thousand dollars, and people are still giving online at community.oregonfoodbank.org/nwffh through the end of June. The event was covered by local television stations, and there are some great photos on the OregonLive website.
Congratulations to the following participants for winning their divisions:
Best in Show – Thomas Clute
Corporate – Colton Snook/Darigold
Children – Hayden Kelly
Family/Multi-rider – Brillig Branstrom and Hayden Kelly
